Deploy The Admin Website & REST API

It's time to deploy the admin application to your DigitalOcean server in the cloud and make it accessible via the browser.

In this section of the course, we'll use the same DigitalOcean server we created in a previous section to configure the admin website and REST API applications.

Like we did with the frontend applications, we'll run them using Node.js, Nginx, and PM2. And we'll configure HTTPS encryption for their URLs using Let's Encrypt and Certbot.

We've already completed the initial configuration for the server and installed all the software necessary for running our applications in a previous section of the course. Therefore, we can jump straight to deploying the admin applications.

Via the terminal, we'll be switching back and forth from the DigitalOcean server and your local machine. To avoid making any mistakes, pay close attention to the environment you're in before running commands.

Let's get started!
